My husband bought this thinking we had to sterilize all the Dr. Brown's bottles. Turns out our pediatrician says washing with warm water and Ivory soap will do the trick. Not only is this product a waste of money but it destroys the holes in the bottle nipples. Our pediatrician says this sterilizer is the reason why some of the Dr. Brown's nipples get larger causing our newborn baby to spit up the contents of the bottle we feed her.

I got tired of boiling my grandson's bottler so I bought this sterilizer. It's big enough to sterilize more than the bottlers. It's very easy to use and quick in the microwave when I'm in a hurry.

We use this several times a day. It is a must have if you're using bottles. It saves us from buying (and the storing) a lot of bottles. We have about 7 Dr. Brown bottles and after our son goes through 4 feedings, we put those in the steamer. It's so great and makes cleaning fast and easy!

We use this item to sterilize bottles, pacifiers, breast pump accessories, and droppers. For the first 3 weeks we sterilized everything, everytime. Now that our son is 5 weeks old, we hand wash everything and sterilize once a day.

I use this multiple times a day. Couldn't function normally without it! Even use it to sterilize pacifiers, breast pump accessories, and everything else microwave safe. Much faster and convenient than a dishwasher.

This is great because you are able to fit tall 8oz bottles tilted, Avent does not allow you to tilt bottles. Dr. Brown's does take 5min vs. Avents 2 min. That can be a very long time if you sanitize right before making the bottle. *Reading Avent's instructions, items are no long santized once you expose it to air. If you keep the lid on then it can be santized for 24 hours. I assume moms just do a batch and leave them out on the counter and fill several bottles of milk at a time. I do. If you are the type to vigilantly only feed your baby freshly sanitized bottles and nipples right out of the microwave that Avent is quicker.

I use this sterilizer at least 5 times a day and use it with other brands of bottles besides Dr. Brown's. It is great and a must have for busy parents!
