Features

Ready to roll

The Cortina Stroller is compatible with the matching KeyFit and KeyFit 30 Infant Car Seats (sold separately). Each of the seats fits securely onto the Cortina Stroller so you can take your baby straight from the car to the stroller with no fuss. Once your child is big enough, place him or her directly into the stroller for your outings.

Adjustable for baby and you

The Cortina Stroller is made to be comfortable for baby and convenient for you. It features a multiposition, flat-recline seat with Memory Recline, which maintains the seat's recline angle even when folded. You can also adjust the height of the stroller handle by pushing in the side buttons and pivoting the handle to the position most comfortable for you.

A place for everything

The Cortina Stroller features a large storage basket under the seat so you can bring along baby's essentials. There's also a cup holder and storage space for your essentials at the top of the stroller and a removable snack tray with cup holders for your child.

Child's snack tray

The child's snack tray with cup holders keeps food and beverages close at hand. Simply remove the snack tray to get your child in and out of the stroller easily.

So easy you could do it 1-handed

The Cortina Stroller features 1-hand folding action and an automatic storage latch. Simply pull on the handle located on the cup holder/storage tray, push down on the storage basket with your foot, and the stroller collapses toward you. Fold the stroller for storage and travel without ever even bending over.

Secure and comfortable ride

One-touch linked brakes hold the Cortina Stroller in place with just a single touch of the foot. All-wheel suspension effectively absorbs shocks from bumps in the road and keeps you and your baby comfortable.

Comments about Chicco Cortina Stroller - Extreme:

I selected this as part of the travel set with the Chicco Keyfit 30, which is an excellent car seat and top rated everywhere I looked! I wrote a review on that, too. I mainly got the stroller because it goes with the car seat. When your baby is a newborn, you will use the car seat plus stroller for walks and things because it cocoons your baby to put the car seat on the stroller. Then when he can sit up you will put him in the stroller by itself.

Anyway, this is a great stroller. It is like a Jeep as far as hardy and able to keep steady on uneven terrain. Good shocks! I have crummy sidewalks here that disappear sometimes and I have to push my son on grass, etc. This keeps him comfortable. It is durable.

It is heavy, yes. If you have a problem lifting things then you might need to check this out first and see if you can handle it. Also, it is a little big so you would need to check that it will fit in your trunk. That was not a problem for us as we have a Taurus and I am strong physically. I really like this stroller and the Chicco customer service is excellent.
    I definitely recommend it.

Comments about Chicco Cortina Stroller - Extreme:

We use this stroller for walks, trips to the mall and travel. So far it has worked well. smooth ride, plenty of storage and easy fold up. I wish the seat had an option for it to be straight up, my son tries to sit straight up and the restraints keep him back, which leads to our issue. the options for the straps do not come in a large enough size. the waist is already to tight and he is 22 pounds. what are we supposed to do when he gets bigger? When he has the seat reclined to take a nap i cannot use the shoulder straps because then he cannot lay flat, his body gets all crunched up. we got this stroller b/c it looked neutral and had certain things we were looking for: single hand fold, cup holders, single handle with multiple postitions. i wish i had known that it does not sit straight up and the straps were to short. oh well.

    PERFECT W/KEYFIT 30 CARSEAT
By busy bee mom from Minnesota on 12/19/2009
    Pros:
Comfortable, Easy To Maneuver, Smooth Ride, Stylish
    Cons:
    Bulky, Too Heavy
    Best Uses:
    Infants, Newborn, Preemies, Toddlers
    Describe Yourself:
    First Time Parent

Comments about Chicco Cortina Stroller - Extreme:

This stroller goes perfectly with it's counterpart, the Chicco Keyfit 30 carseat. Love the oversize basket underneath for storage and it is easy to wheel around. I give it 4 stars only since it is bulky and heavy. Thus, it takes up more storage room and is heavier to lift in and out of the trunk. If you have a compact car, this stroller will take up most, if not all, of your trunk space.

    Permenant Recline position

    Few Features
    Best Uses:
    Toddlers
    Describe Yourself:
    First Time Parent
    Bottom Line:

Comments about Chicco Cortina Stroller - Extreme:

This is a good stroller. It's strudy, durable, and super-easy to pull in and out of your car all day long. But the biggest issue for me was that my son likes to sit straight up and the seat only has 3 recline positions, no "sit straight up" position. It was too expensive for us to go buy a different one so we just put a pillow behind him, but it is still very annoying.

Comments about Chicco Cortina Stroller - Extreme:

I really like the stroller overall. But like other comments about the sunshade, it is useless. I also found that the cupholder doesn't stay on and the front wheels do have a mind of their own. I really like it though because it is smaller and lightweight.

Great stroller. Easy to use. Smooth ride for baby. Folds up easily. Would have given 5 stars but unable to use under basket when the seat is reclined for use with infant seat.

    not worth the money
By Madelyn'smom from Baton Rouge, LA on 11/17/2009
    Pros:
    Lightweight, Stylish
    Cons:
Poor Quality, Poor sun shade, Small Basket
    Describe Yourself:
    First Time Parent
    Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Comments about Chicco Cortina Stroller - Extreme:

My daughter is one now and we've had the stroller since she was born - front wheels don't roll smoothly - they actually face opposite directions at times! The stroller is also now difficult to open and close. I thought chico would have been better quality. Highly disappointed. Has 2 plastic clips to hold infant carrier inside the stroller. My daughter has caught her arms on these many times. Also, sun shade is useless. I added the kiddopot. shade, but this is bulky and a pain to put on and off when the stroller is folded. I much rather my $20 umbrella stroller now.

Comments about Chicco Cortina Stroller - Extreme:

For the most part, I am happy with this stroller. It has great steering, decent amount of storage and easy to set up and clean. The only thing I would change, as many other reviewers have mentioned, is the leg rest. It would be nice to have a range of positions.
